The Brief

Show a palace hotel the way a guest meets it, with real atmosphere, while keeping the rooms, the tables, the hammam and the booking easy to find.

The Approach

Cinematic photography leads every page, set under a quiet Bodoni and script type system, and every section ends on one clear step toward a stay.

The Outcome

A complete eight-page hotel site, including a reservation flow with a price breakdown, a confirmation and a calendar file, ready to book from the first screen.

About the Project

Dar Zilal is a palace hotel on a private lagoon in Jumeirah, Dubai, built in 2017 by masons and joiners from Fez and Sharjah. The website is designed to feel like arriving there: a full-bleed first view of the building and the water, with the hotel name set large across it.

The home page moves from the lagoon through the rooms and villas, the abras that cross the water, three tables, the hammam, the grounds, four excursions and a short story of the house, and ends on an availability bar and the reservation.

Six inner pages go further: rooms and villas, dining, the hammam, the palace itself, the excursions beyond the gates and a plan-your-stay page with the details of getting there.

A four-step reservation flow handles the dates, the room, the guest details and a review, then ends on a confirmation with a calendar file, all on the site. It is built with Astro, with GSAP and Lenis for motion and scroll.
