The Approach
Open on the hero, then walk from programs to discovery flights, fleet, pricing and a clear student journey.
The Outcome
A Wix Studio site of eight pages, from the Ascent Pilot Program and pricing to a six-step formal application.
About the Project
RVA Flyers is a complete website for a flight school at Richmond International Airport, a Diamond Flight Center that trains pilots from Private through CFII in Diamond DA40 aircraft with certified flight instructors. It is built around one idea: a first-time visitor should see where pilots begin and find the next step, a tour, a discovery flight or an application, without hunting for it.
The home page opens on a full-screen photo of a Diamond aircraft with the headline Where Pilots Begin and three actions: Book a discovery flight, Apply Now and Request a Tour. Building Pilots With Purpose follows with four figures the school states: 63+ certificates issued this year, 10 modern aircraft, an 89% overall checkride pass rate and 9 certified flight instructors. Flight Training Programs presents the Ascent Pilot Program, an accelerated multi-engine add-on and the Private, Instrument and Commercial courses. Then come a tour invitation, two discovery flights (The Adventurer and The Aviator), a Getting Started enquiry form, the six steps from interested to enrolled, Our Fleet, resources, three student stories, the Diamond Flight Center section and the team of eight instructors.
Behind it sit a Flight Training Programs page, the Ascent Pilot Program page, Pricing with hourly aircraft and instructor rates, a Student Journey page, Resources and FAQ, Contact, and a six-step Formal Application.
The type is Manrope Regular throughout. The palette is black and white with one blue for the main buttons. The site was built for the school's owner, Josh Das, on Wix Studio.
